SIGIL CONSULTING GROUP DELIVERY TO THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH OF THE REPUBLIC OF PANAMA MANAGEMENT PLANS

On April 13 at the premises of the UGSAF of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Panama, representatives of Sigil Consulting Group headed by its President Econ. Nelson Hernández, and senior members of the Ministry of Health represented by Dr. Itzel Smith as Director of Provision Services of the mentioned institution, in order to formally deliver the result of the project financed through the IDB, called " Technical Assistance to MINSA for the Design and Execution of Management Plans for Hospital Modernization ", within the framework of the Program for the Improvement of Equity and Strengthening of Health Services in Panama.

The project in question was aimed at strengthening the resolution and management capacity of six (06) of the major Hospitals of the Indigenous Regions of Darien, Ngâbe Buglé and Guna Yala. In strategic areas such as service planning, quality management and continuous improvement, Financial resources; Logistics of medicines and supplies, maintenance and hospital waste.

The hospitals that were the object of the study were: San José (La Palma); Manuel A. Nieto (Yaviza); The real; Marvel Iglesias (Ailigandí); Inabaguinya (Mulatupu) and the hospital of the East Chiricano (San Félix). Sigil Consulting Group, through its specialized consultant team, conceptualized technical assistance based on the particularities of each care center, formulating a gradual process of management improvement, through training activities involving more than 200 staff members, And continuous accompaniment with the intention of institutionalizing the changes in processes and management. As well as producing observable and measurable results in the medium term for service users in terms of quality of care.
